The most pessimistic predictions are coming true, and the era of freely available funding for startups has been abruptly halted in 2023. However, amid this turbulent landscape, some of Spain's leading startups have managed to secure unanimous support from investors.

In April, travel clothing and accessories startup Tropicfeel raised a €5 million investment round led by the impact fund Fondo Bolsa Social and venture capital firm Ona Capital. Shortly after, GrowPro, which facilitates the travel for students and workers around the world, raised 1.5 million euros. In May, Taclia raised €6.2 million from Cusp Capital and Stage 2 Capital to continue developing a technology platform already used by thousands of SMEs in Spain for their day-to-day administrative needs.

FILS has contributed to all these milestones with our legal advice. We started supporting startups when traditional law firms were turning their backs on them and we will continue to contribute to their success regardless of market conditions.
